Hi everyone!
Maps and I had a great conversation yesterday. She told me that Irkutsk is one of her favorite places in Russia! She also told me that Maps is looking to break into new regions and maybe Irkutsk could be that region. I hope that is a good sign.

Today they are planning on calling Irkutsk and the adoption center to get more info from Olga (she loves Alex's team so that should not be a problem and then calling Natasha (who Alex has prepped about the program) She said she would see about calling today or that we should know something in a day or two. She promised she would not keep us hanging. Please, please pray that this happens! It would be better for all of us now and in the long run!!! I want what is best for all of you and this would also shorten the trip too. I know that would be better for everyone!!

Things are sounding very good with maps!!!!!!!!!!
They talked with Ministry of education today and they were very happy with that conversation. I had to fill out a bunch of questions today and get them back to her on fees and such and she is still working on getting a hold of Natasha. It may also be a woman named Marina. Did you happen to meet a Marina? Maps doesn't seem to care who it is at this point. I am sure you are wondering but it won't be able to be Sergei as the representative, however I have been assured he will still be working on the case.
I have explained to them about you and Richard and the fees you had to pay because of the July trip when court was cancelled. She seemed very moved by this story and I am really hoping that we can work something special out for you guys.

I wish I knew an end date when this would all be done but things seem to be going really well with them at this point.
