good news/bad news
It seems we are continually taking one step forward, only to turn around and take one or two steps back. The last month has mostly been bad news and there appears to be no end in site.
bad news - we heard our wonderful friend and coordinator was thrown out of the judges court for talking back to the judge and told never to come back. Poor guy, his heart is so big and he loves the children so much. This doesn't hurt our case as he could no longer represent us anyway, we just feel so bad for him.
bad news -We had another agency turn us down as they do not want to go into our region either.
good news-We heard that a facilitator filed a complaint against the judge and there would be a meeting with authorities.
bad news- the judge is going on vacation for the month of March. Imagine being on the job only 6 months and getting a whole months vacation.
more bad news - we heard in detail the problems the facilitators are having in Irkutsk.
As it stands we have absolutely no idea if or even when we will be able to bring the girls home. Everyday is a test of our faith and an emotional roller coaster. All we can do is pray because I can't believe it would be God's will for the hundreds of children in Irkutsk to grow up in these orphanages.
