WE HAVE A NEW JUDGE!!!

Today we got word that we have a new judge! Here is copy of e-mail from Brenda.

Judge Kotkina has retired and a new judge, Mrs. Stepanova has been appointed. Our staff describes her as very professional and determined to be thorough and fair. Due to the recent tragic events with adopted children she will carefully review all paperwork both for the children and the adoptive families and meet with our staff prior to the court hearings. She is aware of the long waits for court dates and how difficult this is for the children and the families. She has promised to address this issue. We look forward to some positive changes in the adoption process in the Irkutsk region.
